Basically, "Listed Products" are listed in our directory for free and
"Featured Products" pay for placement using a PPC (pay-per-click)
model. The higher you bid, the higher you get listed.
Placement Options
Home page (with logo): Minimum bid - $0.50
- Products featured on our home page benefit of the
best placement available on our website. Only home page listings
include the product's logo. Furthermore, these listings are
displayed on every category page underneath the category menu on the
left. Home page listing is the best placement we offer.
- Only the top 15 bidders are listed on our home page.
Top 10 Downloads: Minimum bid - $0.25
- Products featured in the Top 10 Downloads area

their logo is not displayed. However, the link they provide must
point to either a "download" or "sign up" page. As a result,
prospects are taken to the "ultimate goal" instantly, without
having to find where they can sign up or download a trial
version or create an account. This listing option is interesting
if you target impulsive customers or if you wish to close
prospects quickly.

Category: Minimum bid - $0.50
- At first glance, one might think that products
featured at the top of a category benefit of less exposure.
That's not 100% true. Actually, category listings are clicked by
more targeted prospects. Visitors who take the time to click on
a specific category to browse it usually have an analytical
profile. As a result, they are likely to read a specific
category's top listings carefully until they find what they
need. This listing option is interesting if you target that kind
of clientele.
- All bidders in a category are listed at the
top of it, in descending bidding order.
Payment
- We accept payments via PayPal. After making a
payment, we will add funds to your featured product
account.
- Payments can be refunded within 10 days.
- The account balance itself cannot be refunded.
- For every payment you make, "Directroo" will show up
as the supplier on your credit card statement.
Account Administration
- The
administration section empowers you to manage your listings,
bidding options and notices. Furthermore, it lets you view several statistics including information on your
visitors (country, IP, among other things), click history, other
bidders, etc.
- Listings are updated instantly following a change in
the administration section.
- The administration section can be accessed with a
username and a password.
Click Fraud - Not a Problem
- Click fraud is taken care of as soon as it comes to our attention. Should you
get more than one click coming from the same IP within 24 hours, we will credit all
extra clicks and add the corresponding funds to your account.
